LSTC and McCormick archives

The archives of the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago, currently housed at the JKM Library, contain the records of the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago, as well as those of three of its predecessor seminaries: Augustana Theological Seminary, Chicago Lutheran Theological Seminary, and Central Lutheran Theological Seminary. Persons seeking information from the Christ Seminary--Seminex archives should consult the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America archives.

While inquiries are welcome, researchers should be aware that the records of McCormick Theological Seminary have not yet been brought under archival control, making the retrieval of a particular item or materials on a particular subject difficult.
