How much does it cost?

We endeavor to borrow materials from libraries that do not charge, so that materials are available to you without cost. However, if the item you wish to borrow is held only by a library that does charge, then you are responsible to pay the cost of borrowing the item.

On the interlibrary form, there is a place where you may specify the maximum cost you are willing to pay. If a library charges to lend an item, we will contact you before proceeding to borrow the item, inform you of the cost and ask you to write a check payable to the lending library.
