Discussions of “justice” abound in modern theological education. Environmental justice, racial justice, gender equality, justice for the poor, these topics are part of the very fabric of the theological tapestry. One does not, however, hear much about technology and justice. This workshop will touch upon some of the pressing, often ignored, moral issues inherent in our techno society and offer some practical alternative models. If you have heard the terms Open Access, Open Source, or Digital Divide, but are unsure what they mean, then this workshop is intended for you. This workshop will be a brief introduction to the issues. Please, feel free to bring your lunch.
