Zotero is an Open Source, freely available bibliographic management tool. What does that mean? Imagine this:

You are writing a paper for your theology class. As you find your sources you enter them into a computer program with the click of a button. Then as you're writing your paper, with another click of a button you can insert footnotes, and with one final click, you generate a bibliography based upon your footnotes.

Zotero makes this a reality. Instead of painstakingly piecing together a bibliography or typing out your footnotes all you have to do is click a few buttons.

This workshop will cover the basics of installing and using Zotero. Bring your computer if you want to get started right away.
