How do I print from the wireless network?

The following instructions are for a laptop running Windows. We're currently working on instructions for Macs.

Step  1: Log into the 'JKM' wireless network (password is available at the circulation desk)

Step  2: Open the Windows Start menu (lower left corner)

Step  3: Go to Devices and printers

Step  4: Click on 'Add a printer'

Step  5: Click on 'Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer'

Step  6: Click on 'The printer that I want isn't listed'

Step  7: Select the 'Add a printer using a TCP/IP address or hostname' option

Step  8: Click Next

Step  9: In the Hostname or IP address: field input: 192.168.250.247

Step 10: That IP address should 'echo' in the Port name field

Step 11: Ensure that the 'Query the printer and automatically select the driver to use' box is checked

Step 12: Click Next

Step 13: Message appears: Contacting printer and Installing device driver software

Step 14: Message appears: Your device is ready to use

Step 15: In the Printer Name field 'RICOH MP3554' will appear. You can assign whatever name to the printer you wish.

Step 16: Click Next

Step 17: Ensure that the 'Do not share this printer' radio button is selected

Step 18: Click Next

Step 19: You can set the Ricoh as your default printer if you wish

Step 20: Click on Finish. You should be able to print to the public photocopier/scanner/printer (aka 'JKM Guest 2'). Pay for your copies at the circulation desk.
