JKM east and west

In August 2010 — necessitated by the breakdown of the heating/ventilation/air conditioning system  in the LSTC west wing — the JKM Library switched to a closed-stack arrangement with limited public access hours to the stacks (i.e. the area where the library collection is shelved). Reference materials, current periodicals, and dvd collections; circulation and reference functions; and, staff offices are located in the LSTC east wing on the third floor (JKM east). To consult and/or borrow materials, patrons can either visit the stacks when open, or, via the online catalog, request that library staff retrieve materials for pickup in JKM east (to do so requires a current library account with no blocks).
