McCormick IT successfully migrated the JKM wireless network this week, which — we're hoping — will result in a stronger, more reliable signal for our users. Gone are wireless networks JKM-2, 2N, 2C, and 3E networks; now, it's all just 'JKM.'
If you've used JKM-2, 2N, 2C, and/or 3E on previous visits, you'll need to 'discover' the new wireless network with your laptops and/or smartphones, and log into 'JKM' with the same password as before (which remains unchanged and is available upon request at the circulation desk).
Tuesday, October 25, 4 – 6 p.m. Our faculty writes and publishes! Come to the JKM Library café to celebrate our McCormick & LSTC faculty authors. Hear them talk about what inspired them to write what they did. Congratulate them. Savor some cheese, crackers, wine or other beverage. Celebrate!! For more information, contact Christine Wenderoth: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Reggie Williams' Bonhoeffer's black Jesus : Harlem Renaissance theology and an ethic of resistance has been missing from the JKM shelves for months and is needed for fall 2016 reserve. If this title is in your possession, please return it to the library, no questions asked.
... you have online access to more than five million journal articles from 1,900 journals through JSTOR? While JKM subscribes to those collections that are relevant to research in religion and theology, there are many more collections that are available to researchers. By creating a MyJSTOR account (yes, it's free), you can read up to 3 articles every two weeks. Instructions are available here.
